Omar Najjar
Holding a B.Sc. degree in Civil Engineering, with over 20 years experience in woodworking, the first 6 of which were in a joinery and furniture manufacturing company.
Omar Najjar started Homag Middle East in 1995, with a sale of an edge banding machine form Brandt, and has since seen the company grow into the leading service provider to the woodworking industry, with products ranging from the inception stage, to layout design, machinery supply, installation, and training, to after sales support and full turn key projects.
Naser Salem
Holding an M.Sc. degree in Mechanical & Electronic Engineering, with us since 1999, received extensive technical sales training from the Homag Group of companies in Germany, and from various Italian suppliers.
Mr Salem joined us form a large furniture manufacturer, where he was the production manager for 5 years; he has gained extensive knowledge of production machinery and processes over the past 10 years with Homag Middle East.
Juma Al-Zaghal
Holding a B.Sc. degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, with us since 2003, received extensive technical training from Homag Group of companies in Germany and from various Italian suppliers.
Mr Zaghal worked with a leading furniture manufacturer in Dubai as the service and maintenance manager for 2 years; his 7 years with Homag Middle East has given him a strong technical sales experience, coupled with training in Germany on factory layout design, and production flow and volume analyses.
Khalil Alabsi
Holding a B.Sc. degree in Mechanical & Electronic Engineering, with us since 2009; Mr Alabsi joined us from a leading woodworking machinery dealers in UAE, where he spent three years in the technical service & sales department.
Ahmad Zakarneh
Joined Homag Middle East in 2006, and has since received extensive training with Leitz on high precision tooling; Mr Zakarneh focuses on supporting our customers with the right tooling solutions, in close coordination with the technical support department at Leitz.
Bilal Zakarneh
With us since March 2002, moved to Amman branch in 2008, he is a senior technician with a vast experience and extensive training history on most of our machines. He is in charge of initial in house training of our technicians, and provides remote diagnostic and trouble shooting support for our personnel.
Mr Zakarneh has undergone training at Homag, Holzma, Weeke, Brandt, Venjakob, Hocker Polytechnik and Leitz.
Ahmad Touqan
Holding a B.Sc. degree in Mechanical & Electronic Engineering, with us since 2005; Mr Touqan joined us from a leading printing press in Amman, where he spent five years in the technical service department.
Mr Touqan heads our service team in Dubai, and has received technical training in the Homag Group of companies in Germany.
Ahmad Najem
Holding a Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mr Najem has a long experience with maintenance where he worked for 5 years as maintenance manager with woodworking manufacturers, followed by 4 years in the installation and maintenance of woodworking machinery with a distributor of Italian machines in the UAE.
Mr Najem joined us in 2008, and is deputed to the market in Qatar, where he oversees the installation and commissioning of our projects.
Mr Najem enjoys a rich history of technical training with various machinery manufacturers, which coupled with his project management skills, makes for an able and efficient performance in installation, commissioning, trouble shooting and servicing.
Hassan Atari
Holding a B.Sc in Mechanical & Electronic Engineering, with us since 2005, is focused on software servicing and trouble shooting.
Mr Attari received extensive training with the Homag Group on CNC and edge banding technology.
Jeffrey Bolante
Diploma as an Industrial Electrician, with us since 2006; his background is in Electrical Engineering for woodworking machines & factories. He has undergone training at Homag for electrical servicing and trouble shooting.
Ahmad Arar
Holding a BSc in Mechanical & Electronic Engineering, with us since June 2006.
Mr Arar received training from all Homag Group of companies in Germany, and is now deputed to the Saudi Arabian market.
Roberto Martin
Holding a BSc in Marine Engineering and a Diploma as Machinery Technician, with us since 2001; Mr Martin has extensive experience in mechanics, and runs in house Tooling Centre, where machines are repaired and reconditioned, tools are sharpened and profiles are fabricated.
Mr Martin is a Hocker Polytechnik trained fitter for dust extraction ducting and filter units.
